Up to Speed

Hello Folks,
Haven't posted in a while. Since last post, I've finished exams, had a wonderful Christmas, spent some time with my oldest brother who lives in Halifax, spent 5 days at the Youth Parliament of Manitoba, had a pretty great new years, and spent the rest of my holidays getting over a stupid cold. I've turned into a hermit crab, and unfortunatly have had to cancel on plans with friends to stay in bed watching movies, drinking tea, and feeling sorry for myself. Ridiculous I know. I wish I could say I've at least been productive, but the only thing I've been productive on in the last two days is watching movies. So far I've watched; Rent, Hall Pass, Lion King, Bambi, Despicable Me, Winnie the Pooh, and the Help. I plan on doing nothing the rest of the day, and so I have a few more movies I'm hoping to get through including: Little Fockers, crazy stupid love, arthur, aristocats, and maybe charlie st. cloud.

YP went great! I had a lot of fun, and I'm saddened it was my last year. YPM has been such an extraordinary event in my life. It's given me so much confidence, I've gained so much insight into the world, and I've made some amazing friends. I'm so grateful for the experiences these last few years, and also for bringing me to the best friend and boyfriend I could have ever asked for. It's truly been a life changing experience, I'm so happy to have shared it with so many wonderful people. Watch out YP, you can't get rid of me that easily, I'll be back to watch you debate, listen to the closing speeches, and come and clerk. The time has come the walrus said, to talk of many things. Of shoes, and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings. So my time as a cabinet minister and backbencher has elapsed, but now it's time for me to move onto new things. I don't know what those may be yet, only time will tell.
...And so my pretties, more to come after I get over this ridiculous cold.
